Vintage 1924 issue of The University of Oklahoma Whirlwind student humor magazine. This is the "Gridiron Number" featuring wonderful drawings and text about the Sooners football team, including an awesome centerfold, some "Nebraska Down" prose, and fantastic period art. Lots of great advertisements as well. About 8 1/2" x 11 1/2", 42 pages, softcover, illustrated.
Very good shape for a century-old magazine. The centerfold is detached as shown. The cover is soiled and worn but still looks good and is firmly attached to the spine. Minor dog earing and edge wear to the pages, which are free from writing, tears or other damage.
A very rare publication that will be a superb addition to any collection.
