    Description

    Up for auction are 3 small pieces of pottery turned by Vale, North Carolina, potter Charlie Lisk.  All pieces are in excellent condition.
    (L-R):
    Jar with alkaline glaze, two lug handles and measuring 4 1/2" x 3 3/4".  The jar is inscribed "Charles Lisk Vale NC" on the bottom.
    Saddle jug with and experimental dark brown glaze that Charlie calls a "Reinhardt glaze"
    .  The jug is wood-fired, has two flattened sides, rings of sine waves around the neck, single strap handle and measures 4 3/4" x 3 1/8".  The jug is stamped "CL" on the bottom.
    Brown and white swirl vase, turned in the late 80's, beautiful flared lip design, and measuring 5 3/4" x 4".  The vase is inscribed "Charles Lisk Vale, NC" on the bottom.
