Baseball Magazines-Roy Sievers & Ned Garver on Covers (Feb, 1950/March, 1952)

Description

These two magazines honored two St. Louis Browns' players on their covers, who had each had noteworthy seasons the year previously.
The February 1950 issue is a very nice 35-page Baseball Magazine in excellent condition with vivid coloration on the front cover, which features Roy Sievers on the front cover
and numerous photos and articles inside.  (Sievers had won the American League Rookie of the Year award the previous season of 1949---the first time that award was given.)
The March 1952 issue is a clean 38-page Baseball Magazine in very good condition with vivid coloration on the front cover, which features a photo of Ned Garver on it and numerous photos and articles inside. The cover had become detached, and I have secured it with transparent, acid-free archiver's tape on the inside of it. (During the previous year Garver had won 20 games pitching for a team that had lost 100 games, and Bobby Thompson of the New York Giants had hit the pennant-clinching home run in the NL playoff against the Brooklyn Dodgers.)
