Vintage 1976 Bobbs Merrill Ceramic Baby Bassinet Music Box Planter w/Raggedy Ann

You are viewing a Vintage Baby Decor Ceramic Planter Music Box.  On the bottom it is marked Bobbs Merrill Co. 4184M 1976.  This is an adorable bassinet shaped music box that is like a planter.  Perfect for a cute plant as a welcome gift or can also be filled with small baby items (q-tips, diaper pins, diaper rash ointment, buttons, etc.) or candy as a welcome gift for mom and dad which can then be used for holding items / decor in the baby nursery.  This is two sided so it can be used for the decor that it best matches.  One side of the bassinet
is decorated with animals - there is an elephant and a giraffe.  The other side has a larger Raggedy Ann standing at the tall end with a little bird holding a heart on a ribbon in front of Ann.  The front of the bassinet sports a pink ribbon bow.  The main portion of the item is white and the edges are blue shaped like ruffles that would be around a bassinet.  there are also pink accents so it is perfect for a baby boy or girl or when given as a gift at the shower before the sex has been determined.  This is also a music box that plays It's a Small World After All.  On the end is a knob to crank the music up and then another knob also so you can turn the music on or off.  You can crank the music box up and let it play until it runs out.  Or you can turn the knob to play it until you want the music to stop at which time you turn the knob and the music stops until you turn it again to start it back up.  This is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, stains, etc. with no signs of use. Measures 4 3/4" long x 3" wide x 5" tall.
